Friends, I am finally back after a bit of a delay! My husband sustained an injury on his knee a couple weeks back, and had to get 9 stitches! Thankfully, we got those taken out recently, and things are back to normal with his work load. After the Injury setting us back we’ve completed a few exciting things and are even closer to moving in. So, here’s what’s new on our little piece of the PNW!
Before we dive in, here is part one, part two, part three, part four, and part five of our series!
Cottage update
If you haven’t been following my Instagram, I posted a complete inside tour of our cottage! Super fun and I plan to do another once we get to the next phase. Things have been going super well considering all the “what ifs”, and I am so thankful to the Lord for our community and a hard working husband.

Two major things that have happened is, we now have power in the cottage and we have our water too! My husband was able to get the plumbing taken care of and had help with electrical so all the important hook ups we really needed, went really well.
Outdoor and Trailer Happenings

Our driveway is almost complete, for this phase. Now that the loads of rock have stopped we are finishing up spreading it. After that is done, our camper trailer will be moved. Another exciting thing is, we were able to get gates for the front of our driveway. So, soon after we move, these will go in. This will be especially nice, as our little road is actually quite busy.

Finishing Touches for The First Phase
These past few weeks have been nothing but finishing up the last details of this first phase, for my husband. This week, he will begin getting our trailer “move in ready” before we move it, this weekend. I believe the biggest things on our trailer “to do list” is the flooring, kitchen cabinets, and a minor repair in our girl’s bedroom. I’ll be sharing that process as well, once he begins.
We are very excited, and very ready for this move. With baby number 3 arriving in about 13 weeks now, I’m getting very ready to get our home prepped and settled for her sweet arrival.
I know that today was a pretty short update. Im also so sorry our update was delayed due to some technical difficulties and life happenings, but I’ll be sharing another update very soon, friends! I cannot wait because I’m certain I will be writing from the porch at our new, little home.
“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
Psalm 95:1-2 esv
    let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
    let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
